Good day

First up, the scales have bobbed back down to 16.4. Just need to hold onto it now!!

I played golf in the morning. It was a team comp played in threes. It's called a waltz; one scores on the first hole, 2 on the second and all 3 must score on the third and so on.

I played really well, scored on every hole and, had it been an individual comp, I would have been 3 under par. It was truly a delight - long, straight drives, good putting and pretty solid iron play. Aah, bliss.  Our team score was nothing special but it was great to play that well and show myself what can be done.

Worked from home in the afternoon and then took the girls for an evening walk.  It was a bit chilly and not sunny but still lovely.  The buttercups and clover meadows are stunning.

Three bullocks were curious about the girls but Minty's barking drove them up onto the ridge the big wusses.

Supper was a barbeque (eaten indoors) so low carb and very tasty. It was nice preparing supper together, especially a healthy one (although Richard did have 2 beers!!).

Oh I do love a barbecue. Can’t really have one on our little balcony - but we did have them frequently in Suffolk.
