Week 4 Results

Well, the wedding has had its predictable effect.  I have dropped 0.7 lb last week taking me to a 4 week total of 7.2 lbs.  Not a bad average although I must admit that I'm a little disappointed.  I would have liked 1.5 to be honest.

However, as I made clear in my last post, the wedding was a great day out and I saved up for it IN ADVANCE and have still managed to drop some weight by the end of the week.  This is what I used to aspire to do and now I've managed it.  So thank you Venice Fulton.

I mean, how many times this year have I made it my goal to drop half a stone?? I haven't managed it all year on SW or any other scheme, until now.  That is success.

Right.  Let's look forward now.  When I started on a total whim, I was thinking in terms of doing Venice's 6 week plan but now I'm clear that I will be carrying on long past 6 weeks.  It's working for me so why stop?  My targets are now, firstly, to drop 10 lbs in the initial 6 weeks (the minimum he says you will lose while following the plan) and secondly, to drop a total of one and a half stone by Christmas.  I'll then reassess in the New Year.

Half a stone - TICK!!!

Congrats -- that's amazing!

It's always so great to read about how you don't let the diet/weight get in the way of the rest of your life (or having a good time). Such an inspiration...
